I did it again. I changed the theme of my blog. It is one of the main reasons why I love Wordpress. I was using Gridlock, a very unique theme done by hyalineskies, for the last several months. I got the itch again for something new and decided to go with a theme done by Chris Pearson. I haven’t tweaked it much as of yet, but like the features he’s built into it.
I know I haven’t posted much lately. Life has gotten busy! I’ll try to post something worthwhile soon. In the meantime, enjoy this video of Brian Regan:
I just came across this 8 song set Mute Math played in Austin at this past SXSW and just had to post these videos. The audio isn’t the greatest, but they play a couple of new songs, which are pretty good. I’ve posted about Mute Math a couple of times before and even have some sweet photos of one of their shows in Cincinnati, if you care to check them out.
Shane Claiborne is Christian radical who is helping form a new way of life, living among the poor in Philadelphia in an intentional Christian community called The Simple Way. He wrote a book called “The Irresistible Revolution,” a book that is one of my new favorites. I found this video of him speaking to a youth group in Maryland. His message is about 50 minutes long and in it he shares many stories from his life and how God has, as he says, wrecked his life. Take the time to listen to it, and if you are challenged by what you hear, go read his book.
