mute math concert
| November 2nd, 2006Tuesday night I went down to Cincinnati to see Mute Math play at the 20th Century Theatre. It was an amazing concert! I saw them once before at The Basement in Columbus, which is an OK venue. The 20th Century Theatre was definitely much better, and allowed the guys in Mute Math to show their creativity a lot more. Jonezetta and The Whigs opened for Mute Math. I liked Jonezetta’s style and got into them, but The Whigs were absolutely horrible. I felt like I was watching a high school band play in a Battle of the Bands competition.
Mute Math played for an hour, and their show was the best I’ve seen. The light show was sweet, and they played with a ton of energy. I took some pics from the show…here are some of Mute Math:

Wow! Your new, “sexy” camera sure takes great pictures! The first two look especially professional. What’s with the name of the band? muteness and math are pretty much the direct opposite of anything related to music.
